CIVIC TECH CHALLENGE 2015 –  A GREAT SUCCESS!

Hackers from over a dozen companies throughout the Bay Area came out and sat shoulder-to-shoulder with GC’s students to build tech-based tools that would help support our students’ action projects. That evening, everyone enjoyed a phenomenal keynote address from Code for America’s founder, Jen Pahlka, a phenomenal panel of judges, and some great hack team presentations.

Please check our our website – www.generationcitizen.org – to learn more about our work or to get involved.

For now, feel free to review pictures and  sample projects from the Hackathon and Reception, as well as original event details further below.  We hope you can join us next year!
